VI Peel in Clearwater, FL
The one I reach for most. About thirty minutes on, then you peel for the better part of a week.

What people get wrong about it
- They book it for the week of an event. Day three is when it starts and it runs most of a week, so you need ten clear days and nobody tells you that at the till.
- They expect one to fix everything. It is usually a short series across a season, and a single peel on stubborn pigment will disappoint you.
- They go straight back in the sun afterwards. On the Gulf coast that undoes it, and with melasma it can leave you worse off than before.

How I do it
About thirty minutes to apply. It tingles rather than burns, and you go home with the solution still on your skin and a set of instructions I will actually walk you through.
Peeling starts around day three. It is sheets rather than flakes, and you will look like you are peeling, because you are. I would rather you plan around that than be surprised by it.
Usually a short series across a season, spaced a few weeks apart, and often more useful in autumn and winter here than in July.
What is included
- A skin assessment, including how you have reacted to sun and to any previous peel
- Application, around thirty minutes
- The take-home kit and a plain-English timeline for the peeling
- A review to decide whether you want another in the series
What it costs
PLACEHOLDER: priced per peel, with a series usually better value than a single. Confirm against Boulevard.
About vi peel
- What is a VI Peel actually good for?
- Pigment, uneven texture, and acne-prone skin. It is medium depth, so it does more than a lunchtime peel and less than an ablative laser. On Florida skin the pigment is usually the reason people come in.
- How many days will I look like I am peeling?
- It starts around day three and runs most of a week. You are presentable and you can work, but people who know your face will notice. Do not book it inside ten days of a wedding or a shoot.
- Can I have one if I have melasma?
- Often yes, and it is rarely a one-treatment fix. Melasma comes back with sun and with hormones. Anyone promising you it is gone for good is overselling, and I would rather set that expectation now.
