Chemical Peels in Clearwater, FL
The least glamorous thing I do and probably the most underrated, especially on skin that has spent years in Florida sun.

What sun does to skin here
- Pigment. Years on the Gulf coast leaves melasma and sun spots that no amount of tox or filler touches, because it is a surface problem.
- Texture that people blame on age. Often it is cumulative UV, and it responds to resurfacing far better than it responds to volume.
- Peeling at the wrong time. Booking a peel and then going to the beach four days later undoes it and can make pigment worse.

How I do it
There is no single peel. Depth, active, and how your skin behaves in sun all change what I would put on you, and picking wrong is how people end up with pigment worse than they started.
I will tell you exactly how many days you are going to look like you are peeling, because everybody asks and nobody wants the answer.
Sunscreen is not an upsell here, it is the treatment. If you are not going to wear it, a peel is money you are throwing away.
For most people I land on a VI Peel, and that has its own page because it is worth explaining properly. Some skin wants something lighter, and some wants nothing yet.
What is included
- A skin assessment, including how your skin has responded to sun and any previous treatment
- Peel selection and application, around thirty minutes
- Aftercare products and a realistic timeline for the peeling itself
- A plan for whether this is one treatment or a short series
What it costs
PLACEHOLDER: priced per peel, and a series is usually better value than a single. Confirm against Boulevard.
About chemical peels
- How long will I be peeling?
- With a VI Peel, day three is when it starts and it runs most of a week. You are presentable, but you will know. I would not book it within ten days of anything you are being photographed at.
- Can I do this in a Florida summer?
- Yes, but you have to be honest with yourself about sun. If you are on the water most weekends, autumn and winter are the better run and I will tell you to wait.
- Will it help melasma?
- It can help, and it is rarely a one-treatment fix. Melasma is stubborn, it comes back with sun and hormones, and anyone promising you a permanent result is overselling it.
