- Everything in the cheeks, all at once. It photographs fine and looks wide in person, and once it’s in you’re waiting a year to get your face back.
- Treating the area that bothers you instead of the area causing it. Nasolabial folds are usually a midface problem. Filling the fold directly makes it heavier.
- One long appointment, because it was easier to book. Structure done in a single sitting doesn’t settle evenly and you can’t react to how it looks at two weeks.
How I do it
I map the whole face first, then treat in the order it needs, which is often not the order you came in asking for. Chin and jaw before cheeks more often than people expect.
Deep placement on bone where it belongs. Superficial filler is what people are seeing when they say somebody looks done.
We stage it. You come back, we look at it together in daylight, and we decide what’s next. Nothing has to happen in one visit.
