- Both get told it works immediately, which is not true, and then they think it failed at week two.
How I do it
I’ll ask about your dentist before I ask about your jawline. If you’re grinding, that changes the dose and the plan.
It is slow. You will feel the clenching ease before you see any change in shape, and the shape takes two to three months.
Almost everybody needs a second round before the full effect shows. I say that upfront so you don’t think it hasn’t worked.

- How long before I see my jaw change?
- The clenching eases in one to two weeks. The shape takes two to three months and usually a second treatment. If someone is telling you it slims a jaw in a fortnight, they are selling you something.
- Will it affect chewing?
- Dosed properly, no. You may notice steak or bagels feel like more work for a few weeks while the muscle adjusts. That settles.
