Why people put this off
- Embarrassment. You spent money on it, you were talked into it, and now you have to sit in front of somebody and say it was a mistake. I promise it is the most normal appointment I have.
- Being told to wait it out. Filler can sit for years, particularly on bone, and waiting is not always the right call.
- Worrying you will be left with nothing. Dissolving is not all or nothing. It can be targeted to one area and one problem.
How I do it
No comment on whoever placed it. I do not know what you asked for, what they were working with, or what you looked like before.
Targeted where it can be. If one area is the problem, I am not dissolving your whole face to fix it.
Then we wait, look at your actual face again, and decide whether you want anything at all. Plenty of people decide they do not, and that is a fine outcome.

- Will you tell me off for where I had it done?
- No. A lot of the people who book this end up somewhere much better than where they came in, and none of that is helped by me passing judgement on another injector.
- How fast does it work?
- You will see change within a day or two and it settles over a couple of weeks. Sometimes an area needs a second pass, which is normal and not a sign anything went wrong.
- Can I have new filler afterwards?
- Yes, but not immediately. I want the tissue settled and I want to see your face without anything in it before we plan. Usually a few weeks.
